What is the difference between coaching, consulting, mentoring and advising? Coaching is where a coach will guide you through questions for you to reach your own answers and determine your own path. Consulting is where an expert comes in, assesses your business and tells you what to do. Mentoring and advising is what we do. This is us coming in and after assessing what your business’ needs and obstacles are we working with you to devise a strategy to overcome hurdles and grow your business. You provide a realistic assessment of where your business is and where you want it to go. We provide the knowledge and expertise do let you know if your goals are viable and if so, how to get there. Do I need a business advisor? I’ll always say yes. My view is biased. Instead look my testimonials page and decide for yourself. If it makes you feel any better, I have 8 business advisors myself. Now, this is my personal opinion but I don’t believe that anyone should work with a person/business or buy any product who does not provide a 100% guarantee. If the material is fantastic and the advisor believes in his or her products then a 100% guarantee will not hurt their business one bit. If they are selling junk then it probably makes good sense for them NOT to have a guarantee.
